Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our marketing team as a Social Media Coordinator. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and executing effective social media campaigns for our clients. You will collaborate with other WFWM departments and client organizations to craft and deliver engaging content that drives legislative priorities, political education, and conservative activism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their unique brand voice, goals, and messaging, and translate these into compelling social media content.
  • Collaborate with the WFWM marketing team to strategize, plan, and execute social media campaigns across multiple platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Create visually compelling graphics and engaging video reels using Canva, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and supports marketing objectives.
  • Write strategic captions that resonate with target audiences and align with client objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and timely delivery of content.
  • Analyze performance metrics across social media platforms, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and adjust content strategies based on data insights to optimize engagement and reach.
  • Monitor social media trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for innovation and growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in social media management or coordination, with a portfolio showcasing successful campaigns and content.
  • Proficiency in using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms for creating eye-catching visuals.
  • Familiarity and proficiency with scheduling platforms such as Later to effectively plan and manage social media content calendars.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically to craft compelling narratives.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Openness to giving and receiving constructive feedback, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Passion for staying ahead of social media trends, platforms, and technologies.
