This is a full-time (Monday-Friday 9-5), in-person position, at our office in Fort Worth, Texas.
Position Overview: As a Development Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting our organization’s fundraising and donor relation efforts. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual who is adept at managing multiple tasks, a quick learner, and committed to providing exceptional service.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace is essential, as you will be responsible for compiling and managing tasks, organizing data, communicating with donors, and collaborating with team members to execute various development initiatives.
Your keen eye for detail and effective communication skills will contribute to enhancing donor relations and overall fundraising success. While fundraising experience is preferred, we welcome individuals who are passionate about our mission and eager to grow in the development field.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage multiple tasks related to fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and development projects.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace to compile, organize, and sort data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with team members to execute tasks and support the implementation of fundraising strategies.
- Brainstorm innovative ways to improve and strengthen donor relations, engagement, and stewardship.
- Assist in coordinating fundraising events and campaigns, ensuring smooth execution and timely follow-ups.
- Conduct research and assist in identifying potential donors, grant opportunities, and partnership prospects.
- Support the creation and distribution of donor communication materials, including thank-you letters and impact reports.
- Maintain donor records and ensure data integrity in the donor management system.
- Participate in team meetings, providing input and updates on development activities.
- Work with other departments to ensure seamless integration of fundraising efforts with overall organizational goals.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and fundraising trends to contribute to continuous improvement.
